Summary:

The agent is responsible for entering orders into the Syteline system and providing support to various departments. The incumbent will prioritize customer orders and revise production schedules as necessary. In addition, he/she will work with the entire team to develop and implement process improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with supervisor to ensure smooth operation of Candiac plant's overall production planning

  • Maintain production dates in the order system

  • Release and print orders and follow up on delivery dates

  • Check the daily shipping list provided by transport for both Candiac plants and follow up to confirm completion

  • Produce weekly production reports

  • Analyze production data

  • Create production orders for inventory products and non-conformance reports;

  • Analyze raw materials

  • Receive POs into the system

  • Follow-up on special cases to avoid inventory discrepancies

  • Collaborate with customer service, purchasing and production departments on all planning matters.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Bilingual (spoken and written);

  • Analytical skills and facility with figures

  • Good knowledge of Excel

  • Very good knowledge of ERP systems (Syteline an asset)

  • Proactivity and initiative

 

Experience:  

  • Post-Secondary diploma or equivalent experience

  • 1 years experience in a planning role or any combination of experience/education that may be equivalent.
